Opened in 2009, Q Theatre on Queen Street plays host to a wide variety of production companies showcasing dance, musicals, caberet, opera, comedy and concerts.
The theatre includes a 350-450 seated venue while the Q Lounge is an ideal spot for pre-show and post-show food and drinks. The bar offers small tapas dishes, pizzas and paninis to more substantial 'mains' that include chicken and mushroom pie and grilled scotch fillet steak.
Boutique wines, exotic cocktails and a selection of artisan beers are available. A happy hour runs from 5.00pm until 7.00pm from Wednesday to Friday.
There are two entrances to the theatre, Queen Street and next to the Basement Theatre on Lower Greys Avenue.
